Haters gon' hate! - October reflections

I have been driving a lot this year. Actually, I started the year with a resolution to perfect my driving skills in Lagos. It's not that I don't know how to drive. As a matter of fact, my husband calls me James Bond when it comes to driving in Ibadan, because according to him, I drove a certain type of way (super fast) the night to our wedding when we had to go home to pick souvenirs for our friends lodged somewhere far from my father's house. We had spent the entire day trying to perfect a dance ( that we eventually did not dance sef  😂); going through final wedding procession rehearsals in church and just going back and forth picking up stuff I can't even remember now. Anyway, by the time we were done with final errands, most of our friends had arrived and we forgot to pick their souvenirs which we had planned to give them at the hotel later that night. So I had to drive super fast to the house and back to the hotel around 8pm (which is really late for Ibadan people

Never Late! Pick-me-up

Hello Blog Fam. I trust you're doing great and have had a great week so far. Today, I'll be sharing a revelation I caught very recently. The plan seemed really great in my head. The only problem was her school is about 20 minutes drive from our house ( the duration could be shorter but for the bad road ), so by the time I drove pa

No Record! Offense be gone!

"Love keeps no record of wrong [I Cor 13:5, NIV] Hi everyone. How are you all doing? Welcome to a new month, the first of the last quarter of this special year that 2021 has been.  And look who is trying to follow through with her promise to come back to the blog and be as consistent as possible. 💃 I guess we have the Holy Spirit to thank for this one because the spirit of this girl is willing but Lord save her flesh from procrastination and laziness. 😅 Anyway, let's get into today's " word on the go" , which is centered on OFFENSE. This is also a post I should have made last month but couldn't get around to posting because ( see last blog post for reason 😀). In the middle of September, for some reason, I kept getting this nudge to beware of offenses - being offended, taking offense and offending people. Coincidentally, God confirmed the need for me to be careful through different messages. Everywhere I looked, there was a post, a tweet, a caption, a 30-se
